Local priorities include:
Petitioning against the closure of Post Offices in the Central area. Preventing prostitution in the local area and working with the local police teams. Working to stop speeding traffic in and around Central Ward. Working with the community to prevent drugs and crime offences. Karen states: "As a resident in Central ward I know about the problems and issues that local residents have. I have been working extremly hard with the local community to build relationships and communicate with residents. I have been working with local community groups to try and make Central Ward a better place to live."
